Description
Are you looking to add color, animations, and text to your project? Maybe you want to make a game or create a mini version of the video walls in Time Square. If so, these massive 32x32 RGB LED panels are a great place to start. That’s 1024 LEDs with a 7.62mm spacing (pitch) on an approximately 9.6" x 9.6" (245mm x 245mm) board. Using the onboard IDC connector and seamless frame, these panels can be daisy chained together to form even bigger LED displays. The panel is controlled through 13 digital outputs (6 data and 7 control bits) creating a scan rate of 1:16. These panels require 5V and can take up to 4A when all LEDs are on and should be powered from their own supply as mentioned by Adafruit.
Please note that the displays are usually controlled by FPGAs or high-speed processors. There is no PWM control integrated and the matrix has to be controlled "manually" via the processor. For this reason, daisy chaining is not currently supported in the sample code, and only certain Arduino boards can run these.
These panels are compatible with the software created by Adafruit. For more information and where to get the software, see Adafruit's tutorial on 32x16 ad 32x32 RGB LED Matrix displays. If you need help finding this tutorial after purchasing panels or to verify your design will work with these panels before purchasing, please let me know.
These panels are for indoor use only. All panels have been turned on and tested before shipping. Listing is for one panel, one power cable, and one data cable. No mounting hardware included. There are 40 total available. These are also listed on other platforms and are first come first serve.
On bulk shipments offers will be reviewed. Buyer pays actual shipping cost on bulk orders (may be different from eBay calculation since eBay incorrectly calculates shipping dimensions when ordering more then one). No returns. No technical support or guarantees offered. Selling as is (new).
Although we say 3 days to process and ship orders in most cases orders will process the same day they are ordered and be shipped the following afternoon.
We purchased these for a project that got cancelled, and we are looking to sell them to free up space around the shop.
